Development background of our joss paper

“True Buddha environmentally friendly joss paper” originated and was confirmed by Grand Master and Golden Mother in dreams. Confirming that they were authentic and developed under the correct procedures. Initially, the idea was to produce an improved version of the existing products (the old joss paper) with more advanced, beautiful patterns, sophisticated textures which in order to meet the demands and preferences of fellow dharma practitioners and the public. However, due to the complexities and legalities of copyright laws, I had to abandon this idea and find out other solution. After a consultation with Grand Master, he advised me to make a complete overhaul of the product and start from scratch. Two days after, inspiration came to me, for four consecutive days at two to three in the morning, the new designs were drawn up. On completion these became what Grand Master had predicted, the new genuine version - “True Buddha environmentally friendly joss paper” was born. The developed process of “True Buddha environmentally friendly joss paper” from the dream to revisions and editing on April 12, 2011, confirmation on May 21 and by November 30 it was in production. The time it took was just a little more than a year. On completion of the 11 different products, I offered incense in front of the shrine to announce this to Grand Master and Golden Mother. Besides, Gua Shan Lei Tsang temple started selling them too. By 9 February 2012, once again I brought the “True Buddha environmentally friendly joss paper” and the instruction to request an overall blessing from Grand Master, hope this joss paper would benefits when in circulation to all sentient beings. After Grand Master’s blessing, he nodded back, saying: “Good, Avalokitesvara, Guan Yin personally descended to bestow blessings”.

  From January 2012 onwards, in each True Buddha School Taiwan Temple, Branch and Chapter, “True Buddha environmentally friendly joss paper” has been in official circulation. Due advance in technology and communications, these items have become popular with fellow Dharma practitioners and then gradually expanded circulation, to accommodate overseas Dharma practitioners and interested members of the public. After burning these items some got signs from dreams and indications, so I received calls and proposals to help increase and extend the circulation to benefit even sentient beings. In addition, since 25 February 2012, “True Buddha environmentally friendly joss paper” has been suspended to sale in Taiwan Lei Tsang temple for some reasons. On 20 July 2013, finally completed the registration and registered officially established as “Wan Ker Gin Hsiang (萬客金香)” company (government business registration number: 1019001429). Opening was at 4 August 2013. Depending on the circumstances, the next steps will be gradually extends our products to overseas.

Instructions for use

Wan Ke Jin Xiang Company Products (copyright registration: Registration no: D-10-60-1-1010001). The weight of each joss paper component was determined by the Buddhas and received confirmation from Grand Master, Living Buddha, Lian-Sheng, under his instructions, they were adjusted accordingly. Each time of use, burn a small amount of each for auspiciousness and merit. Reducing the amount burnt enables us to help with environmental preservation and loving our earth. Besides, in this way we can let the heavens and the nether world be happy and fulfilled when they receive these offerings.

True Buddha environmentally friendly joss paper, each containing the True Buddha mantra paper (真佛金), wish fulfillment mantra paper (如意金), harmony mantra paper (和合金), karma removal dharani mantra of Seven Buddhas mantra paper (七佛金), healing mantra paper (除疾金), Ksitigarbha mantra paper (地藏金), Great Fortune mantra paper (大福金), Four Directions mantra paper (四方金), Dharani mantra paper (陀羅尼金), One million coupon voucher (one billion mantra currency note, 冥資兆元券) and a horse (甲馬), altogether eleven different types, each package contains seven sheets of each.

• True Buddha Mantra Paper(真佛金): According to the lotus born Buddha, (True Buddha School, Root Guru, Living Buddha Lian Sheng) True Buddha School lineage blessing, thus removing hindrances and bestowing good fortune.

• Healing Mantra Paper(除疾金): With Golden Mother and the power of the Medicine Buddha mantra, this mantra paper helps and benefits all beings eliminate sickness karma.

• Ksitigarbha Mantra Paper(地藏金): Following the Great Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, in the interest of all beings to replenish their wealth and fortune and increase blessing merits.
